Color Mottle

I have old CR2 data that I want to reprocess with PI. For most of this data I didn’t do dithering.  Is there an effective way to reduce color mottle?  I have tried to use TGVDenoise and other stuff without much success.

ACDNR could be a good choice. See this processing example that may help.

If you can share a screen shot of the problem may be easy to identify other solution.

I apply an inverted lumince mask to my data, use a moderate set of paramters in MultiscaleLinearTransform for the luminace noise (Target RGB/K) and then with the mask still applied an agressive setting even on higher layers with Target "Chrominance (restore CIE Y)".
