Where is Batch Debayer?
« on: 2017 August 09 02:16:35 »
Hi
Actually, I have a problem of how to preprocess the images acquired with my Canon. Until now, my procedure was to use Image Calibration, Cosmetic Correction and Batch Debayer on all of my images. With the latest update, I found only the script Batch CMYG Debayer (applied to fits-files) which doesn't work with my images. How is it possible to debayer a whole set of images?
It is still possible to use the Debayer and Image Container-Process Container detour, but the former Batch Container was more comfortable.
Thanks for your help
Raymond

The Batch Debayer script has been retired as such. The regular Debayer tool now has batch capabilities like the script but also has the added advantage of being multi-threaded and auto detection for mosaic pattern. I think you'll like the speed increase.

Hi Mike
Thanks for your quick reply. And I should have had a closer look at the Debayer-Tool from the beginning.
All problems solved! Thanks!!

Hi,
I'm doing a standard workflow for OSC image (CANON DLSR).

In your experience when I have to debayer the XISFs?
I ask because in various tutorial the debayer process is after the cosmetic correction and before StarAlignment process.
But applying the live preview of cosmetic correction on a not debayer image I have some problem in order to find hot pixel.
