SOLVED - HELP! Can't save my work!

I'm kind of panicked about this..... ugh.

After several hours of working on a project, I opened a NoOp process and set some notes in it. My intention was to leave a reminder as to where I was in my processing. With the notes window open in a "committed" state, I selected Save Project. Now, I can't do anything. The save project dialog is open, as is the notes window, but I can't do anything with either of them. I can access all menus, but every option is greyed out. I can't change workspaces either to make sure that there is no open dialog waiting for input.

So, I can't save or do anything with my work.

Any ideas how to recover? Is there a CLI means to accessing PI externally that will force it to save off?

I'm running the latest PI version on OSX.

Hi,

Just a ridiculous idea... Have you tried to press Esc key? I recently had a similar problem in a workshop (the interface blocked by a script interface that was not appearing) and it worked.

Not a ridiculous idea! I did try that. No bueno.

I think there is a dialog behind the notes window. I can't get to it though. The notes window won't move.

I am able to get PI to open other images by double clicking them in finder. However, I can't access the images. I just see them open in the background of the workspace.

I got it! This was very weird. I bet it can be reproduced.

To get to the dialog that was hidden behind the notes window I accessed a different application that only had a small window. That window came to the top of PI, and suddenly I could see the dialog. I clicked directly on the dialog and it let me drag it out from under the notes window. Weird.

Well, that's a similar problem to what I described above. We should further investigate that, thank you.
