Use the Preview > Undo/Redo Preview command (Ctrl+Shift+Z). This option is also available as a tool bar button (look for a button whose icon is like the normal undo/redo arrow, but emerging from a small green square).

Alternatively, when you have stored more than one process in a preview, you can traverse its processing history as I explained in the previous post (right-click and select Load History Explorer, or select the preview on the History Explorer window directly).

Bear in mind that other than the fact that a preview is a temporary object by nature (because it is always stored in RAM), it behaves just as any image in PixInsight.

Hi Juan,

What is the difference between the action of the Restore Preview and the Reset Preview icons....they seem to do the same thing?

Cheers

I use the 'reset' menu item when I right click on the preview. Is this not the right way?
Best,
