M8

Finally got out to do some imaging this past weekend and this is one of my two captures:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByrTommGQM20Q0EwblpKWEdhZGs/view?usp=sharing

Image was taken with my second rig, the e130D and STF8300 on my MX.  Images were captured using the SkyX Camera Add-on (first time using that capture software and thrilled with the result).  Its made up of 60 2 minute RGBs (20 each color) and was processed entirely within PI using my Cribsheet workflow.

Love the detail in the heart of the nebula and the little reflection nebula to the upper left.

Best,

Jim

Really, are clear skies, low wind and no moon that much to ask for?

Lovin' it!

I'm amazed with all the time you put into your crib sheet that you actually have time to image.

NGC7789,

Thanks for the kind words.  Got to do some imaging cause each time it gives me new ideas for the Cribsheet (I only do this for the cribsheet, of course  ???).  Lately been playing with saving all NB combinations until the non-linear phase and will test with NGC7000 which I also took the same weekend.  If it works, you are sure to see Rev37  :)

Best,

Jim

Actually, not happy with the first attempt, too processed in the center.  Check out this revision which I think is a better effort:
