Cheap trick / Starmasks
« on: 2014 December 19 06:13:09 »
I've always found it hard to make a proper starmask, including the larger stars (scale>7), but now I've found a solution:

Clone the image your working with.

Resample it to 50% scale.

Make a starmask (a lot easier).

Resample the starmask to 200% scale.

Voila!

Morten,

Will definitely give that a try!

Best,

Jim
Really, are clear skies, low wind and no moon that much to ask for?
