Rho Ophiuchi Region
« on: 2014 May 31 14:35:21 »
Hi guys, I was lucky enough to get a chance to have a full night session to take the image of part of Rho Ophiuchi from Montana Izana at Tenerife, at around 2400meters altitude. It was also first full test of my new instrument, SW Esprit 100/F5,5 reduced down to F4 with Riccardi reducer 0,75. Objects included in the image are IC4603, IC4605, BDN352+16, Collinder302 and many other.

For larger image and details click the thumb bellow.

I tried to do as few processing steps as possible, because I belive simple is better. Also i was testing some noise reduction functions in Pixinsight, trying to preserve the natural look of the image.
