M42 in Ha
« on: 2013 October 23 12:47:33 »
Attached is an M42 I am working on. I did a long series of exposures ranging from 30 to 1200 seconds. I used HDR Composition and HDR Multiscale Transform and I am very pleased with the way the Trapezium turned out. I plan on adding color next full moon.

Thanks for looking :D

Very nice! I did a similar shot last year and was so happy with the H-a results that I left it grayscale. But if I can artfully add color this year, perhaps I will. I'm very interested to see how yours turns out.
