IC-1396 Close up and far removed
« on: 2019 January 21 13:21:40 »
Here's a comparison of the Elephant's trunk close up vs widefield.  The close-up image was shot with the TOA 130 and STT-8300 with 3nm Astrodon filters, and the wide field was shot with the FSQ 106 with .6x reducer and ASI 1600 mmcool pro with Astrodon filters

Thanks Jose.  The ASI 1600 with its small pixels helps keep the resolution fairly high even with a focal ratio of 318mm
