Adding option Set Balck Point To Zero to load Raw
« on: 2009 February 26 23:31:08 »
Hello,

Would it be possible to add the equivalent of the option "Set Blak Point To Zero" to load raw file (
Code: [Select]
-k 0 of
Code: [Select]
dcraw), as is present in DeepSkyStacker ?

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/DeepSkyStacker/message/5193

This would allow to compare raw images loaded by different programs and is also required to work on really raw images (in fact
Code: [Select]
-k 0 does not set the black to 0, but force dcraw to consider that the black is at 0, rather than to use an offset that may vary from image to image.

Maybe there is another way to reach the same effect ?
Thanks

Hello Bitli,

Just a quick note to let you know that this is now implemented in the new 1.5 version:

PixInsight 1.5 is scheduled for March, so you'll have this new functionality available very soon.

Thank you for your help ;)
