Zooming in/out on a picture

A small detail but would make life much easier

I am using trackpad and in for example Affinity Photo, when i swipe 2 fingers, the image is moving to sides.

If i lets say move my cursor to bottom right corner of the image and pinch two fingers, it will zoom in at the place of cursor.
The way it's done in PI is really cumbersome and unintuitive.

Coming here to second this! I work with both a trackball mouse and Apple Magic Trackpad (one of each on either side of my keyboard). Multitouch panning would especially be welcome, since it's a much more natural and faster way to navigate through an image, especially when I'm hunting down little artifacts at a higher zoom.

Currently using spacebar + trackpad cursor movement works ok, but it's not as natural feeling as multitouch would be. And my coordination for keyboard + mouse movement isn't as good as it used to be — but trackpad gestures are fine.
