Unable to download repository information.

I am consistently getting the message "Unable to download repository information." when starting up Pixinsight. Additional details for the message are "https://darkarchon.internet-box.ch:8443/: Network error: Response code = 404". The same message apperas both for versions 1.8.9-1 and 1.8.9-2.

I have full Internet connectivity for all my other applications and no problems in accessing other sites from this computer.

Is the Pixinsight SW server down? Is there anyone else experiencing a similar problem?
 
If you search this forum for "darkarchon" you will find dozens of topics on this subject.
Bottom line: darkarchon is no longer supporting these items, and has closed his repository.

This is not a bug (and not a PixInsight issue - it is a third party repository that has been closed).
