Hi,
During StarAlignment the parameters sensitivity, peak response and maximum distortion are never used in the global context.
The global context seems to always use default values (0.5, 0.5, 0.6).
The parameters are correctly used in the view context.
To reproduce:
I am running PixInsight 1.8.9-1 build 1556 with all updates applied under Windows 10 (22H2).
I think this might be a bug as it used to work in the past. But sorry if I missed something and it is not a bug.
Thanks for your help and insight.

To reproduce:
- Take a view V and apply StarAlignment:
From the console log, write down the number of detected stars: #S1
- Change any or all of sensitivity, peak response and maximum distortion parameters and reapply StarAlignment on view V:
Write down the new number of detected stars: #S2
- Add the image file of the view to the StarAlignment process and run it in the global context:
The number of detected stars will be #S1 instead of expected #S2
