I am needing help. I'm not sure how to fix this issue with 57 Cyg in the pelican nebula. Not just pelican nebula but in all nebula/images I take the larger/brighter stars are blown out with weird rings like this. I have tried comparing 3minute versus 5 minutes exposures and I can't really tell a difference.
I am using a Zwo294MC pro and ZWO 1600mmpro with my Stellarvue 130t-r telescope. (filter used in the above is the optlong lextreme 1.25", but I have had similar issues with Antlia 1.25" RGB, Ha, OIII, SII filters).
Is this just over exposure? If so how do you recommend I balance nebulosity details with keeping stars in check.
I don't know how to fix this in pixinsight so any help is greatly appreciated.
I would like to know if there are any processes in pixinsight that could help me correct this. I don't mind a bright star, but the rings really look terrible to me and I don't know how to correct it.
