Not sure when to use color correction but when I use SPCC
keeps saying only 1 sample detected and needs 5 samples to run.
anything I can do for the script to run color correction?

That suggests there's something wrong with the file you're trying to apply SPCC to. Occasionally you can be in a part of the sky where there simply aren't enough stars, but usually this points to a calibration problem of some kind that damages the stellar profiles. You could upload an image that doesn't work to a cloud host and post a link to it here.
 
We need a full resolution (ideally .xisf) uploaded file for diagnosis, but posting an STF screenshot may give some clues.
