Replacing Stars after Starnet Processing?

I've removed the stars from my Ha Nebula image using Starnet and have processed the image. I also have an RGB image of the same nebula that I would like to use to process just the stars, and then add just the processed RGB stars to my Ha image. Can anyone suggest the best method for doing this?

A simple method is as follows:
1) Register the Ha and RGB images.
2) Create a StarMask of the RGB image.
3) Apply the star_mask as a mask to the Ha image.
4) Open PixelMath and enter the name of the RGB image into the Expression for the RGB/K tab.
5) Drag and drop the blue-triangle from PixelMath onto the Ha image.

If you don't like the result you can try reducing the Smoothness value in StarMask until you get a good result. Experiment.

Hope this works for you.
