Registering then blending OSC Light Master and Mono Luminance Light Master

I have 350 - 180 sec. OSC light frames that I create a calibrated master with. On another night I imaged 30 - 360 sec.Mono Luminance frames also calibrated as a Master frame. Due to different threading on the cameras one is about 180 off when compared to the other. I want to align them and preserve separate image of the corrected frames alignment. This is so I can use a blending technique to add the Lum Master detail to the OSC Master image. I tried Star Alignment function, but it aligns and adds the 2 together. I want the blending of the 2 Masters to be a separate process. Any suggestions on how to align and preserve the corrected Master AND the best way to add them together with a function that allows previewing the blend ?

StarAlignment does not add the input images, but simply aligns the target image(s) to the reference.

Look at LRGBCombination to combine your RGB and L images. If that doesn't accomplish what you want, look at PixelMath.
