Pixinsight 1.8.8.6 Crash After Quitting

Just removed PI 1.8.8.5 from Win7-64 machine which ran fine. Installed 1.8.8.6 and it performed 7 updates after installation. PI starts up fine but shortly after quitting the program the following error is generated:

This is not a bug in PixInsight. Windows 7 is not supported by current versions of PixInsight. The only Windows version supported is Windows 10.
 
Understand, BTW will this cause other issues until upgraded or should I just return to 1.8.8.5 in the interim?
