PI stoppage when single stepping images in Blink process

Hi Team,

Today when using the latest instance of Core version 1.8.8-6 and the Blink process to inspect 55 x 16 KB images the process stopped while reverse stepping single frames and displayed errors in the Process Console window, see attached. The application remained running but as a precaution I restarted before continuing with image assessment/processing.

I'm running the following old but otherwise functional system:
Intel Core i3-4150 CPU @3.5 GHz
Memory 16 GB
Type Windows 10 Pro 64-bit OS with latest Updates
Platform MSI H81M-P33 with default integrated Graphics

Kind regards,
Dave

The access violation is being generated in Qt code when destroying a QImage object. The probability of a Qt bug in this routine is virtually zero. This is probably a bug in Intel graphics drivers, a buggy Windows update, damaged system components, conflicts with third-party applications, etc. This is not a bug in PixInsight.

Just FYI, getting the same (?) problem here using PixInsight 1.8.8-6 and doing a Blink. Running latest Windows 10 Pro with updates, NVidia graphics card, 32GB RAM. I read your reply that there is nothing you can do, so just FYI.

As noted, this is not reproducible. As you say, there is nothing I can do to solve these Windows-specific, machine-specific problems because they cannot be reproduced under normal working conditions.
