I would very much like to have a tool for OIS (optimal image subtraction) as described by Alard and Lupton in 1995 (https://arxiv.org/abs/astro-ph/9712287) in PixInsight. That would help identifiying transients in image series. Or is there a way in PixInsight I don't know to do this? A simple pixelmath-operation is to coarse.
