Network Error

Hello everyone,
Every time I launched my Pixinsight1.8,there is an error like: Network error: HTTP response code=301,I have no idea on how to deal with it.
What I should do to do with it? Please give some suggestions. I will appreciate it.

Hi Han,

This problem cannot be reproduced on any supported platform with our official update repositories. Are you using any unofficial update repository?
 
Hi Juan,

I am now experiencing this error since yesterday when launching PI and I'm using the latest version

Hi Jkulin,
I have not found any error, if you still cannot launch PI successfully, maybe you should try to reinstall the PI.

PS:I am a Chinese, and I am Han.?
 
@Juan Conejero I can run PI and use it, but it keeps saying that I have an update but fails every time with that error, can you advise please?

@Han I'm trying to avoid a re-install and I have to load all my scripts etc over again.

Are you using an unofficial repository? If yes, check if the url is http:\... and change it to https:\...
 
Superb assistance thanks, I haven't changed or added to the repository since I started using PI a few years ago, but changing to https fixed it.
