Mosaics Madness

Hi,

I am trying to make a mosaic of about 4 panels in NB (Ha, Oiii, Sii) ... is it better to process each mono filter per session and then combine into a color image and then create the mosaic OR process each mono filter, create the mosaic for each filter and then combine into a single color image ... maybe there is no difference.

I do combine each mono first into mosaic before combining the 3 frames. Working with PhotometricMosaic it works very well.

PhotometricMosaic can work with color tiles which saves a lot of work. However, creating a mosaic for each filter and then combining afterwards is slightly more flexible because you can, if necessary, apply different settings for each filter.
