Minor bug on Mac OS X version 1.8.8-5

HI - I think there is a minor bug with the Mac OS X version.

If you press Alt-N to initiate a new preview, this only works if the Mode toolbar is visible.

Hi Colin,

Bug confirmed. This only happens on macOS. It is either a 'feature' of the native macOS desktop, or a Qt bug. This problem is out of my control and I have no idea as to how to solve it, so you'll have to live with it for now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
