this long FL might benefit from some careful sharpening or deconvolution?
Well- I did sharpening multiple times and and deconvolution and have about 7 versions of this. If you look on Astrobin of the best ones, they are similar to this one. So, I settled on this one but I could easily see folks like one version over another. This DSO is a real challenge. It is very difficult to get the core sharper and not mess up the lobes and vice versa. Frankly, that is why I think it is not imaged much. I could use my reducer to help, especially given by skies, but I am preferring to use just prime optics.

no doubt it is a difficult target. creative masking could probably help with the lobes vs. core.
