Hello PI family, I wanted to be sure you knew about a new resource for learning PixInsight. In the wake of COVID, PI experts, Dr. Ron Brecher, and myself, along with our IP4AP partner, Pete Proulx, have teamed up to create www.MastersofPixInsight.com, where live and recorded virtual workshops are hosted each month. The next workshop will be held twice on November 10, 2020- the subject being noise reduction. You'll find all the details at https://www.mastersofpixinsight.com/. Thanks, Warren. As a subscriber to your IP4AP, I was a bit miffed that these new workshops are not included in the subscription and are $35 each.

Looking at the IP4AP website, unless I've missed something there are only 4 new recordings in 2020. I realise that it might be difficult to have sessions on new stuff if there is nothing to report - but this is all the more reason not to charge existing subscribers for the workshops - particularly since it is likely that most of the material will have been covered before.

If there is a lot of new material and I've just missed it, please accept my apologies. If not, then please consider making this part of the subscription service.

Colin, MOP is a new website by Pete Proulx. Along with myself as a teacher, we've added Ron Brecher as a partner- different business, different focus. That focus is virtual workshops. So, we have to look at IP4AP as an entity, and not other things that I'm involved with. I appreciate your support of IP4AP over time. We have, for the most part, detailed everything to date. As things at PI get updated, they'll be covered. You are right, there were 4 tutorials added to the Reloaded series, but add to that 5 updated primers, plus two miniseries in the Workflow section https://www.ip4ap.com/Workflow/index.html, making 13 videos in all.
