long name problem (again)

Win 10, current PI version. Getting long-name error. This was identified as a bug back a few years ago, and I had not had that problem until the last update. Please check and advise.

Did you make the Windows setting change to enable very long path names?

Are you sure you are getting a long name error. WBPP sometimes generates long name warnings (sometimes when there is actually no problem).
Windows traditional long path constraints are not really a PixInsight probelm. If you have changed the required Windows registry setting, you should not have any errors.

Thanks...I made no changes to the registery (or Win 10). Though it might be a bug as per Juan's comment here:

WBPP 2.1, file path length issue (>260), despite LongPathsEnabled?

It was indeed a bug in the PI manifest, but it was fixed long ago.

... but you still need to modify the registry setting. The bug was that PI didn't tell Windows that it accepted the modified setting.
