sorry for the late response. On which OS (windows, Linux Macos), did you see this issue? Did you try to connect to localhost before you changed the hostname? The indigo client internally tries to connect to the server several times, even if the first attempts failed. I'll look into this!
I'm preparing a new release of the Indigo module that will support the bonjour INDIGO service detection, then a manual connect wont be necessary anymore.
