ImageSolver fails

Hello,
a processed images I took in 2020 with my Celestron 11" in the focus. I got following final image and wanted to do ImageSolver and then PhotometricColorCalibration.
Starting with the Imagesolver it failed. I put the coordinates from M51 and started it, and got:

run --execute-mode=auto "C:/Program Files/PixInsight/src/scripts/AdP/ImageSolver.js"

Processing script file: C:/Program Files/PixInsight/src/scripts/AdP/ImageSolver.js

*** Error: Unable to find an initial set of putative star pair matches.

<* failed *>

*** Error: The image could not be aligned with the reference star field.

Please check the following items:

  • The initial coordinates should be inside the image.
  • The initial resolution should be within a factor of 2 from the correct value.
  • Adjust the star detection sensitivity parameter, so that the script can detect most of the stars in the image without mistaking noise for stars.
  • The catalog should be matched to the image. Choose the appropriate catalog and magnitude filter, so that the number of stars extracted from the catalog can be similar to the number of stars detected in the image.

*** Error: Unable to plate solve image: Alignment failed.

This usually happens because the initial parameters are too far from the actual metadata of the image.

Maybe you can help me?
Yours sincerely,

Alexander

PhotoMetricColor Calibration fails to Plate Solve. I have change Universiites in the drop down and tried local catalog and default catalog but the program fails to solve my WeightedBatchPreprocessing image. Otherwise everything else works fine. It was working with the ASIAir Pro but since recently using NINA ASAP plate solver it fails every time. ASAP finds and centres the taget in NINA like the NGC 2070 etc and The FITS header conforms so I don't know why it no longer works?

Under the "plate solving parameters" try unticking "automatic magnitude limit" and changing it to say mag 15. I also tick "distortion correction". Also, under the "photometry parameters" untick limit magnitude and set it to the same as in the previous sub section of the PCC tool that I mentioned above. Finally, make sure that the date/time, sensor pixel size and focal length etc, are all correct for your imaging rig.

Thank you. Yes I read that and tried changing Austomatic Limit to several settings and same error. Pixel Size 3.76 and Focal length 420mm is correct Sharpstar 150 HNT with QHY 268c. Southern Hemisphere Just North of Sydney Bortle 4,

Another Aussie here (Brisbane, but originally from Sydney). Envious of your bortle 4 skies! Can you share the data, say, via google drive and send me a link via PM so I can try and help with the problem?
