ImageCalibration new options in 1.8.9-1

Hi all, I've been away from the hobby for 1.5 years but back at it now. Previously when I did ImageIntegration, for weights I didn't have the PSF options. I tried to find some documentation about them but I couldn't and it still seems to be showing the old settings. Which ones should I be using and should I be using any of those for creating master darks; I normally have done "don't care (all weights =1)" for integrating the master darks which I assume still holds. Also there used to be a scale estimator not sure what happened to it. Are these replaced by the PSFs?

Also I see a new rejection algorithm, RCR - how's this compared to GESD and the others?

Thanks!

Well time goes by, and Juan has worked hard in order to improve PixInsight. The changes are well documented in the corresponding announcements.

New image weighting methods have been added in v1.8.8-10, and have undergone important changes since then, see annonuncements [2], [3], [4], [5], [6].

The Separate CFA Channel Alignment Feature in the Debayer process was implemented already in v1.8.8-9 (September 2021), see [1].

The new Robust Chauvenet Rejection (RCR) pixel rejection method was introduced in v1.8.9, see [5].

I have the same question as Ram, what happened with the Scale Estimator in the ImageIntegration process ? Should I care for it elsewhere? Thanks!
