Last Monday I shot 3.3 hours of Panstarrs by Coddington's nebula using 2 min exposures and a QHY268c at 1000mm.
After calibrating the frames I tried to do a star alignment before running comet alignment.
For some reason (star alignment picking up the comet?), even though all frames are reported as successfully aligned, they are not.
When running Blink on them the frames jump around, not star aligned at all (some of them maybe).
Any suggestions?
