Can't read large TIFF file

I'm getting this error trying to read in a stitched TIFF file:
** Warning: TIFF: Unknown field with tag 18248 (0x4748) encountered

*** Error: TIFF Error: I:\AstroPhotos\Andromeda Galaxy Panel 1\1b_stitch.tiff: Failed to allocate memory for to read TIFF directory (0 elements of 12 bytes each)

*** Unable to open file: I:/AstroPhotos/Andromeda Galaxy Panel 1/1b_stitch.tiff

<* failed *>

Any one know what's wrong?

If the file is larger than 4 GiB, then it cannot be read in PixInsight because we only support standard TIFF 6.0 files.

Otherwise, the file is probably corrupted or invalid. To say something useful, I need you to upload it (dropbox, wetransfer, etc).
