I new to PI and I THINK I'm just beginning to get to grips with it. However, confusion now reigns. I use a Canon 60D DSLR, and everything I have ever read says that the Bayer matrix for this and other Canons is RGGB. However, I've been getting some funny purple casts on my images, so I tried putting in an 'ordinary' photo of some flowers in RAW CR2 format. The process console reported that the CFA pattern for the photo was GBRG, and indeed if I debayered it using GBRG the output is correctly coloured. If I try debayering using RGGB I get the purple cast.
In Format Explorer, under RAW, I have selected Pure RAW.
Have I totally missed the point on any aspect of this?
Thanks for any help
Steve
