Title: M81 M82 IFN
Post by: edif300 on 2017 April 05 15:08:05
Hi all,

Image from the last week during new moon, galaxies M81, M82, NGC 3077 with some neighbours on the M81 galaxy group with the Integrated Flux Nebulae. Processing was really good challenge, small structures mixed with the large ones and very bright galaxies with faint nebulae. Hope you can enjoy viewing it.

Processing by PixInsight.

Adquisition data: 27 x 300s (L) + 6 x 600s (Ha) + 14 x 300s (R) + 14 x 300s (G) + 14 x 300s (B)
My usual equipment: FSQ-106EDX, EM-200T2M, Andor Apogee U16M, guided by FS-60CSV+QHY-5.

Best Wishes,
Iñaki

How dark is the sky on this location?

It's not as dark as I would want  ;)
Maybe 20-21 mags/arcsec2

Super deep!! The IFN is starting to look like a regular dark nebula.
