Is tfif a requirement for GigaPan? Those images are amazing. You get to shoot from some amazing locations!

I think it might be that in the last 3 years PI has gone to parallel thread processing for integration if I remember correctly. The stand alone debayering process has the same issue with large number of Raw format files if I remember correctly from other postings. It would make since that integration would also. I don't remember if turning off the parallel processing in the global preferences fixes the issue but it something to try. Personally I would go with the batch conversion to XISF but if hard drive space was an issue for some reason then turning off parallel processing might be an option.

A process Icon is saved with the location(workspace) and position information so it opens where you last saved it. If you open the process icon file with a text editor you can change that information. The next to the last line holds this information. In my case 'workspace=Workspace02'. Change the Workspace02 to which workspace you like. Remember position information could cause icons to be overlapping with other icons.

I just make multiple icons sometimes and just save them in the particular workspace they will be used.

You can also try the Channel Match tool if all color separations are in the same direction. If you have problems in the corners with the directions being different I've used StarAlignment tool with distortion correction turned on. First separate your image to the individual R,G and B channel images. Use one of those as the reference, I generally use green and align the other two images to the reference.

Attachment to the forum have a restriction of 512kb. When you  click on 'Attachments and other options' below is a list of the restrictions. For large attachment large attachments it's recommended to use something like Dropbox, OneDrive ,Google Drive or other of this type. Those are free and this keeps server cost down for the forum owner.

I right clicked on the side of the article and was able to save it as a PDF. I'm using Opera as my browser. I just checked and I was able to view the saved pdf in my other browsers.

Here is a posting from Mike Schuster about when he suggest to use his Mure Denoise tool.
https://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=9206.msg59107#msg59107

I would suggest looking at the entire posting as there is much information about the tool and it's progression through versions. Searching for Mure in the forum will turn up a couple of pages worth of results also.

Bug Reports / Re: Install module fail

This is a third party module and no longer compatible with PixInsight. Carlos would need to update his modules to work with the current version of PI.

From the PixInsight F.A.Q.

Quote
2.5 Must I buy several licenses to use PixInsight on Windows, macOS, Linux and FreeBSD?
Absolutely not. The commercial license gives you the right to use PixInsight on all supported platforms and operating systems. This currently includes FreeBSD, Linux, macOS, and Windows.

2.6 Do you impose restrictions on the number of installations per license?
Absolutely not. Our commercial users have the right to install and use PixInsight on any computer they own. The only limit is that only the licensed users have the right to use their copies of PixInsight. Other than the fact that a commercial licensee cannot share his/her copy of our software, we impose no restrictions.

Here it is in the documentation and in the tool. In the tool just select which image is your reference and click on the button. That image is then placed at the beginning of the list.

Also reducing the luminance shows the process image to look more like the single CR2 image that shows little brightness but has color.
