Title: Channel Combine
Post by: Bill1054 on 2015 June 21 21:51:19
I'm a beginning beginner, and I'm stuck already.  I have my registered R, G, and B grayscale frames which I wish to combine into a single RGB image.  When I try this, I get a message that states Channel Combine is only for RGB images.  Changing the color space of my three images to RGB doesn't work either.  What is the correct approach?

Thanks!

you are probably trying to apply the ChannelCombination to one of your mono images by pushing the square button of the ChannelCombination process... correct?

you need to give the names of the 3 images you want to be R, G and B and then apply global - the round button on the CC process.

First open all 3 files (R, G, B). Then in ChannelCombination window select appropriate R, G,and B files. When files are selected, press global apply button (it looks like a circle).

Hi
I have this kind of problem (not solved!, please help me).I have color pictures using atik (fit extension).
after integration, the picture is said grey scale.
What to do?
Convert to RGB and then split rgb channels. After theses 2 steps i obtain 3 files (gray, too, named -r,-rg-b)
And then channel combination?
BUT the final picture (rgb) has NO colors...
What to do
many thanks

I assume you have a OSC (color) camera. If so, before ImageIntegration you have to debayer your files.
