When I do star alignment (Register/Union) using image1 as the reference image for a 2 panel mosaic and then do the same thing using image2 as the reference image, I get very different densities and contrast on each of the panels when applying an STF.
As can be seen from the screenshot of the two mosaics, the second one has more contrast in the lower panel and less contrast in the upper panel. Bottom line is that the second mosaic looks like it has more potential.
What causes this?
