Reusing DynamicPSF for different image
« on: 2016 April 02 15:59:35 »
I would like to use the same set of selected-stars in a DynamicPSF session for a different image.  I'm experimenting with running DynamicPSF on R, G, and B separately and am happy with the stars I have selected for my R image and would now like to reuse that same set for G and B.  Is there a way to do this or do I need to select the stars, down-select, etc. all over again?

Hello Herman,

I think so! The way I know is:

  • Generate a instance icon (drag blue triangle to workspace)
  • Right click over the icon
  • Select Edit Instance Source Code...
  • Change the image ID (new target image) and save (green checkmark top right)
  • Double click in the edited icon
  • Regenerate all stars values (button)

See the little gif attached.

Hope this help.

Greetings,

Enzo.

Thanks!  That worked perfectly.
