Blink Problem
« on: 2016 March 27 06:02:16 »
Hello Everyone

Started using Blink to evaluate images and with images from a OSC camera (SBIG STF 8300C) when I apply the Histogram stretched the channels will be linked so in my case there is the blue cast over the images. I can not get them be be unlinked channels Histogram stretched. This occurs even if before the Histogram stretch they are un-linked. It has been seen by Vincent Perez and he did not know how to fix that. So ANY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS.

Hi Steve!
Can you make the fitsfile accessible via dropbox.
It helps to understand the issue better and maybe to find a solution.

It's very easy. The default with Blink is the top Autoi histrogram icon. If you select the lower curve AutoSTF icon, another icon will show up under that icon. This icon is a RGB icon. This allows for unlinking of STF in Blink.

It was just explained to me that the middle was default and the top was the stretched. so just backwards. I will let the person who instructed me the difference and thanks again

When I say default I'm just saying what the program started with when first installed. Depending on your needs you will change between the different settings. My preference is the first setting when I am using blink even though I use a DSLR and the color will be wrong. I like the stretched view to be more consistent when looking for problems. I'm not looking for color issues between images.

Steve, you are right. You can't unlink channels in HT mode. You can unlink channels in STF mode only.
I don't know why Juan remove that option... maybe because HT process requires too much memory and CPU resources.
Maybe i will add than option again

I don't remember having disabled or removed that option, did I do that?

I have just released an update for Blink 1.2.2.218 for all platforms. This version includes the linked RGB histogram functionality implemented by Nikolay a few days ago.
