Workshops Postponed to 2016
« on: 2015 September 30 15:06:40 »
Hi,

During the next months I won't be able to give my workshops. This is because my first daughter was born one month ago, and also because I'm preparing a new teaching project that's needed to enhance the learning experience in my workshops. At this moment I'm not able to give workshops that require a lot of preparation (like the weekend workshops) or traveling around the world. The only exception will be an intensive workshop here in Valencia by the start of December (to be published in a few days) because it's a 20 minute drive from my home.

I'll start my regular activity next spring. The next EPIC and Harvard workshops will be on 2016 as well. Stay tuned because we'll be asking for user presentations / speakings on these meetings.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I really think it will be worth the wait.
Best regards,
Vicent.

Sorry! I didn't mean that actually!! :D I'm making an exception with AIC because it does not need any preparation for me and it's only a weekend. It will be a short -but interesting- workshop and I have everything ready for it!

Best regards,
Vicent.

Congrats on your baby girl!! I have two (much older now) and they and my son have been a joy (though sleep is hard to come by sometimes).

Best,

Jim
Really, are clear skies, low wind and no moon that much to ask for?

Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl.  Your life is about to change in a dramatic and good way.  I look forward to your future workshop at Harvard again.

Really confused now, is the e-mail I got yesterday about this workshop not accurate? https://pixinsight.com/workshops/atlanta-201603/
I also downloaded the referenced two videos but the data set for NGC1808 was not found.

Thanks,

Steve\

I also received the Eatonton, Georgia, USA workshop email.

I would so love to go to this workshop.  If it was only a week later to fall with my kids spring break.  Family would love to make a trip to Georgia.

Rob,

I don't follow. The date is next month. Isn't it? I mean it's February 2016 and March 2016 follows next. I thought but maybe this is in metrics:) I'm old school.

Hi Steve,

The email addresses are encoded to prevent them from being stolen by spammers and email harvesting bots. This is known as address munging.

In Vicent's address, encoded as "vicent(dot)peris(at)pixinsight(dot)com", replace (dot) with '.' and (at) with '@' (without quotes). Do the same for Angela M. Bryan's email address.

Just another senior moment.....or three. Yes, now that I look at the original message sent in September of 2015 does this make sense. Details, details.......Forgive the interference.
