Luminace substitution in Linear XYZ : how to?
« on: 2015 September 05 06:36:20 »
Hi,
I wonder if someone can help me with this.
I tried to substitute the luminance in the linear phase, laveraging on custom RGB working space and XYZ channel combination.
my images have a strong cast/umbalance that is simply impossible to correct.

Here is what I did:

define a linear working space: illuminants (1,1,1), gamma=1. Itried to set the cromaticity weights also to 0.33 as suggested in a old post but I get one error.
apply the RGB linear space to both RGB and luminace images
channel combine in XYZ, substituting the new luminance in Y for RGB.

Am I missing something?

many thanks,
Andrea
