Transparency lost in Vs 01.08.04.1171 (x64)

Since updating to Version 01.08.04.1171 (x64) I miss the feature of very well respected Transparency while overlapping images.

Has anyone else experienced this loss or is it only me? What should I do to get it back?

In the Global Preferences you need to go to the Special GUI Effects. You want the Translucent workspace child window box checked.
