I can't reproduce these problems on Fedora 19 and Fedora 20 Linux, Windows 7, and Windows 8.1. The R-T Preview window works without problems in all cases. Are you using the latest 1.8.4.1171 version?

I disagree, but many users seem to agree with you, so I'm going to release an update with a modified core style sheet file that will reduce interface fonts from 10pt to 9pt.

This cannot happen with version 1.8.4 build 1168 or later. Definitely, you are not running the latest version of PixInsight. Anyway, this warning message is completely harmless; you can safely ignore it.

Bug confirmed. I have been able to reproduce this problem on all platforms. So far it happens only with one of the images I've used for testing. The bug causes the following effects:

- Open one of the images that causes this problem (so far I have found only one).

- The view selector combo box (bottom left corner of PI's main window) shows the image on its drop down list, but it does not allow selecting it. If the image in question is the only one open, the selector always shows the "<No View Selected>" tag.

- The rest of view selector controls, for example on the Real-Time Preview window, HistogramTransformation, etc., show the same behavior: the image cannot be selected.

- When the Real-Time Preview window is launched from a tool (HT for example), the image is not loaded in the R-T Preview window.

Workaround: Simply create a preview on the image window, open another image, duplicate the image, or create a new image with the NewImage tool. Then all view selectors allow selecting the image and all returns to normality.

This is a very minor bug that I'll fix in September. Sorry for the inconvenience.
