hi-res pidoc?
« on: 2015 August 07 22:16:19 »
Hi Juan,

Some of my pidoc's have embedded screen capture dialog and pane layout pngs, currently captured at low-res. These look a bit blurry when the pidoc is rendered at hi-res. Can you suggest a solution so that pidoc looks better at all resolutions? Should I capture at multiple res, and have pidoc select the most appropriate (seems like a lot of asset management work)?

Thanks,
Mike

Yes, this is a common problem with renditions of web contents on high-dpi displays. Note that the same happens with other high-resolution media and devices, such as PDF documents generated for printing. I have some ideas as to how to solve this with the current PIDoc infrastructure, but let me think more on them and make some tests before I can say something reliable. Indeed this is something we have to solve in a robust way, now that high-dpi monitors are becoming standard equipment.
