Re-sizing Adapter Stretch Real Time Curve Graph
« on: 2015 June 29 15:14:26 »
Hi Group,
I've come hat in hand for some help.  I've managed to size the curve graph to its largest size.  With that I find that I cannot re-size the graph back to something that fits within the screen.

The lower portion, with the size drop-down window and other buttons, falls below the monitor screen and is not accessible.

I'm running version 18-1123, 64 bit.  Monitor is at 1440x900 resolution.

Here's a screenshot showing the white curve graph.  The graph is to the top of the screen and consequently, its lower section is unavailable.

I've tried all my "A" material, but so far nothing has worked.

Hi Mark, interesting, can you increase the resolution of your monitor?

Hi Alejandro,

No, I'm at the max.  I've tried lowering it with no success.
Also, restarting, rebooting, etc. has done no good.  Neither has re-sizing the PI window.

Somewhere I have notes from Juan on "re-setting" PI.  Reckon that's where I'm heading?

Try using the UP arrow on your key board. If it does not work the first time hit the TAB key once or twice, to highlight the size field, and then use the UP arrow to change the size.

Genius Mick,
that did the trick.
Thanks,

Mick's trick is very clever. Since the only control that can have the keyboard focus on the graph window is the size selection combo box, if you click the curve graph and press the up arrow key a smaller window size will be selected and applied immediately.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll think on a way to prevent this problem on small monitors (putting the controls above the graph can be a simple solution).
