Gio, Try the Motion Blur tab of Deconvolution with a star mask in place! When selected, the Motion Blur PSF tab can repair star elongation (eccentricity) due to guiding error or opto-mechanical distortion. Use the Angle and Length sliders to define a pattern in the black preview box which matches the distorted stars in the image. Define a preview around several problematic stars, and try applying deconvolution with other settings at defaults. Drop Algorithm/Iterations to the lowest amount which achieves the desired effect. If the pattern of distortion varies across the field, masks would be needed to target the repair to specific parts of the image. Good luck!
Best always, Warren

It's OK to go ahead and try to salvage an image, but you should also try to get at the root of the problem---how can the guiding be improved to alleviate this.
