Update error - PI server issue?
« on: 2015 April 05 09:14:26 »
I have not been able to update since Feb 28th.  I get the following error after a search for updates:

https://pixinsight.com/update/: Network error: schannel: next InitializeSecurityContext failed: Unknown error (0x80092013) - The revocation function was unable to check revocation because the revocation server was offline.

Does anyone know what this means and how to restore my ability to get updates?

Thank you.

Clear skies,
Ron

Thanks everyone.  I now understand that it's a windows error.  There is no effective solution I could find on the net.  The hotfoot did not work (said it wasn't for my system).  I have changed the addresses for the update servers to the non-secure servers.
