HDRComposition Issues, what do i wrong
« on: 2015 March 16 13:53:35 »
Hallo

i have question about  HDRComposition. I have 4 images of the m42 all separated combined aligned and integrated with ABE and DBE and saved. I add this 4 images in the HDRComposition with default settings and applied. The result after STF is that the new HDR images has in the stars a black dot and the masks in the  over exposed area are stil see.  This is not what i expected. what did i do wrong.

I hope someone can help me out

Chris

Hi Chris,

Could you upload some JPEG images to the forum?

All still struggeling with this. the star are with black dots how to solve this and where can i upload my lin. because they are to big for attaching. this are the files used for the HDR, so some on can have look and advise me how to proceed with this, i have on this moment the feeling to go back to PS to use the mask procedure to combine the picture. i expect that i get it right because i am a newbie :-)

als registrations are don with the standaard

I suspect that your short exposure has a different pointing, so it has black edges on bottom and right?

Hi Chris,

Please could you show your short and long exposure images separately, after combining them?

Hi,

I would need the FITS files you're using to make the composite.

Thanks,
Vicent.
