Missing jpg and tiff extensions
« on: 2015 March 15 15:44:37 »
A friend of mine has asked me the following: "I have a conundrum with PI saving that has cropped up.  When I try to save an image in a format other than fits, the drop down box lists fits, bmp, ico, png, ppm, sbm, xisf, and spm only, no tiff or other normal file extension.  Do you have any idea what's going on there?"

His trial version is up to date and I posted a screen shot of mine showing all the extensions. Is this a limitation of the trail version?

i don't think so, it's probably a variant of the "missing dynamic libraries problem". usually resetting or reinstalling PI does the trick.

Tom was helped by Rogelio. It was modules not loading. All is well now. Thanks Rogelio!
