Need help with my Pixel Math mask pleaseeee

Hi Martin, I saw your masks. I believe that could happen two things.

1) You did not use Truncation on starmask
2) You did not add structure_map to starmask before substracting from L_mask

Is that possible?

Have you managed to test the icons?

im at work at the moment my friend, Im pretty sure I used Trunction on the star mask, but it is possible I did not add structure_map to starmask before subtracting, ill go over it a few times when I get in later on to make sure as it is the 1st time I used structure map so it is likely I could have done it wrong

I did test the icons again last night and got the same message "failed"

just going to go over the mask tutorial again now...

That is very strange. I don't know what it means. Lets check again.
 
Are you able to download the "Andromeda.xpsm.zip" to your computer?
If so, then you have to unzip it in a folder and then load/merge the icons in PixInsight. They will be located in Workspace01

Are you able to see the icons in your workspace as it is shown here?

You can also attach a print screen of what you see to have a better idea.

yes im able to download the zip file

i then load the process icon Andromeda.xpsm and it gives me this

edit, i have no problems loading any of my other saved process icons

mmmh, this exceeds my knowledge ... Juan?
I tried downloading the icons and worked well. Someone else could check?

In the mean time Martin, try to follow the parameters in each screen shot to see if you can reproduce the steps.

one thing Alejandro, do you create the star mask from the L_mask or the master_stack?
