I did this by mistake, but wanted to report the finding anyway:
I created a star mask using StarAlignment in the Structure Map mode. My next step is then to use DynamicPSF to select some stars in my main working image. I think my main image wasn't STF Stretched at the time (so it was kind of dark) and I confused the (also dark) star mask with the main image, and accidentally clicked into the star mask while DynamicPSF was active/open. PixInsight (under Win7 64-bit) "locked up" and stopped responding. I waited about 5 minutes before giving up -- because I had some unsaved changes still in memory. I did lose those changes, but it wasn't the end of the world (typically I save my first initial ImageIntegration, then save again when I'm ready to do my first DynamicCrop -- luckily I was past my crop and only lost a few steps).
Also when I clicked on the star mask, I may have clicked slightly off of the star (in an open dark space) and just thoroughly confused the DynamicPSF processing.
Not a major deal, but maybe something to be aware of (if not already so).
